WE ARE 100% FUNDED!! 🌴🐠🌊

We officially hit 100% last night in the final hours of our campaign!! This means we reached our FULL BUDGET, raising a total of $25,105, which exceeded our goal by a hundred and five dollars!!

Thank you so much to everyone who contributed, shared our campaign, or even just sent positive thoughts toward its success! We are so grateful for your support, and we could not have done this without you!

Here’s a breakdown of where our budget will go:

Development/Pre-Production: Includes our Bahamas Film Commission submission that guarantees us location permits in the Bahamas and secures the lodging and flights for cast/crew.

Bahamas Production: Crew & talent pay, camera/lighting/grip equipment + shipping fees, props, wardrobe, transport, picture cars, catering, keeping our crew hydrated, etc.

LA Production: Incorporates all of the above production costs + location fees and additional costs to maintain a healthy environment for a young actor.

Post-Production: Includes labor, editing equipment/software, composer, color correction, etc.

Insurance: Maintains the safety of our equipment and crew for the entirety of our production.

Festivals: Covers festival fees, DCP Fees, and touring fees!

THE STORY: There’s Something I Have to Tell You is the story of Anna, a reserved woman in her 30s who’s temporarily living in a small town in the Bahamas to help her mom build a house. But beneath the surface, Anna is haunted by memories of her past. During her stay, she struggles to release a devastating truth that has kept her and her mom divided for as long as she can remember.
